I do not accept insurance. However, if you would like to use your insurance, I will provide you with a billing statement that can be submitted for reimbursement to your insurance company. This works well for many clients and is similar to what some of the medical providers offer. 

My fees are as follows:

$125 – Initial Clinical Assessment (typically 90 minutes)

$95 – Individual Therapy Adult or Adolescent (55 minutes)

$75 – Play Therapy for Children between ages 3 and 12 (45 minutes)

Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check or credit card and is due at the beginning of each session. 

It is my goal to provide services to those who need them. As such, I also offer a sliding scale on a case-by-case basis that I would be glad to discuss with you. 

Comfort Counseling Center has a 24-hour cancellation policy. In the event that you miss your appointment or notify me less than 24 hours before your appointment, a full fee will be charged. If an emergency occurs, please contact me as soon as possible to ensure you are not charged the late cancellation or no-show fee. 

If you do not have insurance or are not using insurance, under the law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including your therapy services. You can ask your health care provider or any other provider, for a Good Faith Estimate in writing before you schedule a treatment or at least one business day prior to service. 

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
