Meet the Therapist

Life events can feel overwhelming and challenging at times. I believe at any age we need each other’s support to process and journey through them. I specialize in play therapy working with the emotional and developmental needs of children ages 3 through 12. 

In my sessions, I provide an atmosphere that nurtures confidence and belonging, boosts independence and self-esteem, and promotes healing for these children. I believe the foundation created in play therapy can have a positive long-term impact in children’s lives as they progress into adulthood. I am also trained in child-parent relationship therapy and work with both caregivers and parents to develop and improve skills that strengthen the parent-child bond.  

Additionally, I work with adults of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, workplace stress, and life transitions. While I may not know what it feels like to walk in your shoes, your experiences are uniquely yours, my lived experiences and formal training equip me to help you achieve your goals. I offer the necessary tools and processes to help you navigate where you are today and equip you with coping strategies and hope for the future. 

I practice from a person-centered foundation. This means I encourage my clients to seek and utilize their inner strengths in a non-directive and empowering way. You deserve to be heard and supported, and I hope to cultivate that safety and connection with you. Collaboration is an essential component of the counseling process, and I will follow the pace you set for our sessions.
